It’s a man’s world…wide web

University of Texas assistant professor Dustin Harp discussed today the findings from a gender-based research study of the blogosphere.

What I got from it, besides disgruntled:

    1. 57% of bloggers are men; 43% are she-devils
    2. According to Harp’s hypothesis on the basis of feminist theory, physical inequalities have grossly filleth over into virtual inequalities
    3. Only three out of the top 30 political blogs are written by women (2004)
    4. She asked if women just didn’t have time to blog… Ya right.
    5. She has proposed that the linking nature of one blog to another is one of the main principles followed for success.

I guess just enough women aren’t getting the link.

Therefore I propose a campaign:

Link like a Lady

Link like a lady. Blogher, a blog community targeted for women, is a good place to get involved and write down some girly URLs.
