The local feminist bookstore, BookWoman, had a run of bad luck last December and couldn’t find a balance after tippy-toeing around piling slips of debt indication.

BookWoman has been around since the second-wave flutters of the ’70s– And has stayed around to become one of the remaining 12 feminist bookstores in the nation.

The owner, Susan Post, finally asked the community for help. The community raised almost $40,000 (oh Jesus, feminism, we thought you were dead).

After stuffing boxes for four days and nights, BookWoman is finally ready to reopen in its new location: 5501 North Lamar Boulevard, # A-105.

The opening time: tomorrow at noon.
